Fix Speaker Mount and Cut Plastic

 

First a few words:

I chose to put the jack there because it seemed like a good place.  You can put it wherever you want/find space.  There aren't a lot of places it could go, so I think this is best, but I will post other solutions that are e-mailed to me.

Remove the retaining screws and remove the speaker from its perch.

Break out the plastic so that the speaker can lie flush with the front of the ePods as shown in the picture above.  Break out the plastic tab (it's missing in the pictures).  Stick the speaker to the front of the ePods in the method shown below.  This will provide adequate clearance such that your ePods isn't unduly contorted by the RJ45 jack.  After doing this my case closed all the way like the jack wasn't there at all.  The speaker will stick by itself.  Note the way the wires are routed.  I taped them down because that's where the CF slot is and you don't want to have your wires messin' around with your CF card, do you?
